Album
Goes Worldwide with New Distribution

Danny Roberts is proud to release his debut solo CD, Mandolin
Orchard, on the Butler Music Group label with secular
distribution services offered by CBuJ Entertainment and
New Day Christian Distributors for the CBA market. The
album is now available worldwide including Wal-Mart, Barnes
& Noble, Amazon, Tower Records, Best Buy as well as
local Christian book and gift stores.
The
album is receiving national airplay including Danny's
original song, "Old Paths" currently
featured on Front Porch Fellowship, a syndicated
bluegrass gospel show being broadcast in 180 markets across
the U.S. Other recognitions include being chosen by the
Chicago Tribune
as one of the Top 10 Bluegrass Albums of 2004.
Featured
on Mandolin Orchard are ten self-penned songs such
as "AndiWayne", "Mandolin Orchard",
"The Jaelee Swing", "Hickory Springs",
and also includes Danny's own arrangement of "Bonaparte's
Retreat."
Sam

Danny
Roberts, a multi-state instrumental champion and multi-award
winner, is also a member of Rounder Records' newest band,
The Grascals. The band has just finished a nationwide
tour with Dolly Parton, as her opening act and as members
of her band. This was Dolly's first major nationwide tour
in 15 years.
Besides
performing with Dolly and The Grascals, Danny has also
shared the stage in concert and instrumental workshops
with many top industry artists such as Marty Raybon, Ronnie
Reno and the Reno Tradition, Sam Bush, Mark O'Connor,
Chris Thile, Tim O'Brien, Bobby Osborne, Larry Cordle
and Lonesome Standard Time, Melonie Cannon, Charlie Sizemore,
Special Consensus and many more. He was also a founding
member of the bluegrass/gospel group, New Tradition, that
toured extensively across the U.S. from 1990 - 2000 playing
many of the top venues, including the Grand Ole Opry.
Danny
is proud to endorse Gibson mandolins. For the past four
years, he has spent many hours at Gibson (Original Acoustic
Instrument Division) as part of the team reconstructing
and producing the Gibson mandolin that is once again at
the forefront of the industry.
